Joshua Del Rosario Wins Pamplin College Service Award
Joshua Del Rosario was never one to get involved, but the positive experiences he had as a freshman and an exposure to Virginia Tech’s culture of “Ut Prosim,” encouraged him to serve in Pamplin as early as possible.
His involvement in several Pamplin organizations allowed him to create many meaningful relationships and connections with fellow classmates and professionals. Thus, it has been one of his desires throughout his time in Virginia Tech that incoming students would feel encouraged to serve and lead as well. “I believe that the best way to make the most of your experience at Virginia Tech, is to get involved as early as you can.
Pamplin provides so many opportunities for that.” Joshua served as the President of the Accounting Society, a Mentor in the Pamplin Undergraduate Mentorship Program, and a VP in the Pamplin Leadership Development Team. Being able to provide some advice and guidance to freshman from a student’s perspective made Joshua’s involvement in these organizations all worth it.
Joshua Del Rosario is pursuing a dual degree in Accounting and Finance and after graduation he plans to study for and pass the CPA exam. He will be working at KPMG as an Audit Associate.
