Accounting & Information Systems Alumni Scholarship:  Scholarship awarded to students enrolled in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems within the Pamplin College of Business.

Accounting & Information Systems Faculty Scholarship:  Scholarship awarded to students enrolled in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems.

Alvin H. Carpenter, III Accounting and Information Systems Undergraduate Scholarship - to provide an undergraduate scholarship for students majoring within the accounting and information systems department. This scholarship will be awarded based on a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8, demonstrated financial need.  Preference for the award to be given to candidates who are also members of the Marching Virginians.

Anderson & Reed Accounting Scholarship:  Scholarship awarded to students enrolled in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems.

Bobby Lee Benson Memorial Scholarship: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to students from Southwest Virginia, majoring in accounting.  Recipient must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate financial need.

Bobby R. Moore Scholarship:  Scholarship awarded to students enrolled in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems.

Brown O’Neil Seago-Second Chance ACIS  Scholarship - to provide support for a graduate scholarship for the Master of Accounting and Information Systems Program.  Preference that this scholarship be awarded to individuals pursuing a Master of Accounting and Information Systems degree and are deemed by the department admissions committee to have the potential to be a successful student in the MACIS Program.

C. Franklin & Helen M. Lawson Memorial Scholarship in Accounting: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to students majoring in accounting based on academic achievement and financial need.

Christopher Allen Johnson Memorial Scholarship in Accounting: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting chosen based on academic achievement, leadership potential of the students, and financial need.

Clifford A. Cutchins III Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to students studying accounting based on either merit or need.

D. Perry and Sharon C. Brown Accounting and Information Systems Scholarship: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to students pursuing an accounting degree with the intention of sitting for the Certified Public Accountants' examination.  Recipients will be selected based on academic merit and financial need and is renewable for no more than five years.

Douglas R. Eanes Memorial Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to students majoring in accounting within the Pamplin College of Business based on academic achievement and demonstrated leadership skills.

Dr. Frederick E. Horn Memorial Scholarship in Accounting: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting. Recipients selected based on academic achievement, leadership potential of the students, and financial need.

Elmer S. Wilson, Jr. Memorial Scholarship in ACIS: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting and information systems within the Pamplin College of Business based on academic achievement, the potential for scholarly achievement in teaching and research, and a commitment to humanitarian service.

Ernest J. Pavlock Scholarship in ACIS: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting and information systems within the Pamplin College of Business.  Recipients selected based on academic achievement, the potential for scholarly achievement in teaching and research, and a commitment to humanitarian service.

Floyd A. Beams Accounting Scholarship:  Scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting and information systems within the Pamplin College of Business.  Recipients shall be selected based on academic achievement and leadership potential.

Frederick M. Richardson Scholarship in Accounting and Information Systems: Scholarship awarded to graduate or undergraduate students majoring in accounting and information systems based on demonstrated academic achievement and a commitment to humanitarian service.

Gail & Mary Evelyn Boggs Accounting Scholarship: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in accounting in the Pamplin College of Business based on the academic and leadership potential of the students and financial need.

Gerald L. Alderson Scholarship: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to undergraduate and graduate accounting students in the Pamplin College of Business based on the academic and leadership potential of the students and financial need.

Harry & Penny Schwarz Scholarship in Accounting: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate accounting students in the Pamplin College of Business.  Recipients will be selected based on demonstrated academic potential and financial need.

IBM Corporation Accounting and Information Systems Scholarship: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to a student enrolled in the AIS program, rising junior or senior, based on academic performance and financial need.

James D. Penny Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate students majoring in Accounting within the Pamplin College of Business.  Preference given based on academic achievement and demonstrated leadership skills.

James L. Lavinder '58 Memorial Scholarship in ACIS: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate students majoring in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems who are residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Janice M. Huppert Memorial Scholarship in ACIS: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate accounting students who attended high school in Southwest Virginia or transfer accounting students who attended Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville, VA or New River Community College based on academic merit (minimum GPA of 3.2), a favorable work ethic, and leadership qualities.

Jasper R. and Allyn G. Eanes Scholarship in Accounting: Scholarship awarded to students majoring in accounting within the Pamplin College of Business based on academic achievement and demonstrated leadership skills.

Jimmie L. Wade Accounting Fellowship: Fellowship awarded to a student enrolled in the Pamplin College of Business' Masters of Accounting and Information Systems Program.

John E. Peterson, Jr. and Mary Jane C. Peterson Fellowship in Accounting: Fellowship awarded to students enrolled as doctoral (Ph.D.) students in Accounting in Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business pursuing a career in accounting education and research, with emphasis in the field of auditing.

John F. Carroll Scholarship: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to an entering freshman who is majoring in accounting and attended Roanoke Catholic High School or North Cross School or if no one qualifies from either of those schools, then someone from a high school in Roanoke City, Roanoke County or Salem based on merit and need.

John T. Ryan Memorial Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate students majoring in accounting within the Pamplin College of Business.  Recipient shall be selected based on merit and demonstrate those qualities so well reflected by John T. Ryan's life; honesty, integrity, high professionalism and a demonstrated commitment to humanitarian service.

Johnny R. Johnson Memorial Scholarship in Accounting: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting. Recipients selected based on the students' academic achievement, and the potential for scholarly achievement in teaching and research.

Jorge and Rosa Del Alamo Scholarship in ACIS: Scholarship awarded to graduate or undergraduate students majoring in Accounting and Information Systems in the Pamplin College of Business.

Joseph Alfred Deans Parrish Memorial Scholarship: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to students enrolled in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems in the Pamplin College of Business and pursuing an accounting degree with the intention of sitting for the Certified Public Accountants' examination.  Recipients will be selected based on academic merit and financial need.  Preference given to students who are from Portsmouth, Virginia.

Joseph J. Quadros, Jr. Endowed Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to an entering freshman or current student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the South Hampton roads area of the Commonwealth of Virginia, to include Isle of Wight County and the cities of Newport News and Hampton, where South Hampton Roads is defined as the cities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach.  Recipient shall be selected based on demonstrated academic achievement and leadership potential.  Preference given to previous recipients as long as they continue to qualify through their senior year, provided they maintain an overall grade point average of at least a "B" or its numerical equivalent in the academic discipline of Accounting.

Joseph M. Donnelly '70 Accounting Scholarship: (need based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to undergraduate and graduate accounting students based on academic and leadership potential of the students.  Preference given to students demonstrating financial need.

Joseph R. Jenkins Scholarship in Accounting: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate and graduate accounting students in the Pamplin College of Business.  Recipients will be selected based on students' academic and leadership potential.  Preference will be given to out-of-state students enrolled in the Accounting program in the Pamplin College of Business.

Katheryn A. Tyree '02 Memorial Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to a Junior or Senior who is enrolled full-time in Virginia Tech's Department of Accounting and Information Systems, on the Dean's List, involved in extracurricular leadership activities, and a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Preference given to students who have been accepted into the graduate program in Accounting and Information Systems.

Konrad W. Kubin Scholarship in ACIS: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting and information systems within the Pamplin College of Business based on academic achievement, the potential for scholarly achievement in teaching and research, and a commitment to humanitarian service.

Kwan Soon Lee Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to current sophomore (rising junior) undergraduate students in Accounting and Information Systems.  Two awards shall be made annually and preference shall be given based on the academic merit of work performed during the students' sophomore year.

L. Mahlon Harrell Memorial Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate students majoring in accounting within the Pamplin College of Business.  Recipients shall demonstrate those qualities so well reflected by Dr. Harrell's life; the potential for scholarly achievement in teaching and research and a demonstrated commitment to humanitarian service.

Leo Herbert Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to students enrolled in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems within the Pamplin College of Business.

Loretta M. Emery Scholarship in Accounting: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business and majoring in accounting.  Recipients will be selected based on financial need, student's leadership potential and academic achievement.

Loretta R. Donnelly Memorial Accounting Scholarship: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to undergraduate and graduate accounting students based on the academic and leadership potential of the students. Preference given to students demonstrating financial need.

Marsha Volk Phillips and Chip Phillips Scholarship – Scholarship awarded to students in accounting and information systems based on academic merit.

Mary F. McVay and Theodore R. Rosenberg Scholarship in Accounting: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate students majoring in Accounting within the Pamplin College of Business.  Preference shall be given based on academic achievement and demonstrated leadership skills.

Michael and Nancy Owens Scholarship in Accounting and Information Systems: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the Pamplin College of Business' Accounting and Information Systems Department based upon financial need and academic achievement.

Pauline L. Corn Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to students enrolled in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems within the Pamplin College of Business.

Pearman Family Freshman Merit Scholarship in Accounting: Scholarship awarded to freshmen enrolled in Accounting and Information Systems in the Pamplin College of Business.  Recipient will be selected based on academic achievement.

R. Bruce Prouty Scholarship in Accounting: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting based on academic achievement, the potential for scholarly achievement in teaching and research, and commitment to humanitarian service.

Robert C. Morris, Jr. Freshman Merit Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to freshman students in the Pamplin College of Business.  Recipients will be chosen based on the students' academic and leadership potential.  Recipients must indicate their intention to enroll in the accounting program in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech.

Robert F. Hogan, Jr. and Alison W. Hogan Fellowship in ACIS: Fellowship awarded to students entering the Masters of Accounting and Information Systems Program in the Pamplin College of Business.

Robert L. Freeman Scholarship in Accounting: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the Department of Accounting at Virginia Tech who are Virginia residents.  Preference given to students from the Tidewater, Virginia area. The Tidewater, Virginia area shall be defined as the geographical area comprised of the cities of Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Suffolk, and the counties of James City, York and Isle of Wight.

Robert L. Freeman Scholarship in Accounting #2: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the Department of Accounting at Virginia Tech who are Virginia residents.  Preference given to students from the Tidewater, Virginia area. The Tidewater, Virginia area shall be defined as the geographical area comprised of the cities of Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Suffolk, and the counties of James City, York and Isle of Wight.

Roger W. Dean Scholarship in ACIS: Scholarship awarded to an undergraduate student majoring within the Department of Accounting and Information Systems.  Recipient selected based on academic merit.  Preference to students from the Hampton Roads metropolitan region or Wythe County, both in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and who are among the first generation in the family pursing a degree.

Ronald J. Patten Scholarship in Accounting and Information Systems: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting based on academic achievement, the potential for scholarly achievement in teaching and research, and commitment to humanitarian service.

Rosalind N. Cranor Fellowship in Accounting and Information Systems: Scholarship awarded to graduate students majoring in accounting and information systems based on academic achievement, the potential for scholarly achievement in teaching and research, and commitment to humanitarian service.

T. Dallas Hundley, Jr. Scholarship in Accounting: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate and graduate accounting students in the Pamplin College of Business.  Recipients will be selected based on the students' academic and leadership potential.  Preference will be given to out-of-state students.

T. Edwin and Willie Ann Bush Accounting Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting within the Pamplin College of Business.  Recipients will be selected based on academic merit, and to honor those qualities encouraged by Mr. Bush's parents and reflected in their son: the potential for scholarly achievement in accounting and a demonstrated commitment to humanitarian service.

Thomas L. Souders Accounting Scholarship: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to undergraduate and graduate accounting students in the Pamplin College of Business.  Recipients selected based on student's academic and leadership potential, and financial need.

Thomas M. Wells and Kathy Accounting and Information Dargo Systems Fellowship – Fellowships awarded to Ph.D. students and graduate students pursuing their master’s degree in accounting and information systems.

Thomas M. Wells and Kathy Dargo Accounting and Information Systems Scholarship – Scholarships awarded to undergraduate students majoring in Accounting and Information Systems in the Pamplin College of Business based on academic merit and leadership potential.

Thomas M. Wells Scholarship in Accounting: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to junior or senior accounting students.  Recipients selected based on the students' academic achievement, leadership potential of the students, and financial need.

Thomas R. Byrd Scholarship in Accounting and Information Systems: Scholarship awarded to students enrolled in the Pamplin College of Business in Accounting and Information Systems who shall be a resident of the DelMarVA Peninsula.  Preference shall be given to students based on academic merit, demonstrated leadership skills, and community service.  Preference shall be given to first or second-generation college applicants.

Virginia Owen Williams Memorial Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to an undergraduate student majoring in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems.

Wayne E. Boggs Accounting Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to full-time students majoring in Accounting based on academic achievement (minimum GPA of at least a 2.75).

Wayne E. Leininger Scholarship in Accounting: (need-based/FAFSA required) Need-based scholarship awarded to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting based on academic achievement and financial need.

Wells Fargo Scholarship in Accounting: Scholarship awarded to rising seniors or graduate (M.S.) students and pursuing a degree in Accounting.  Recipients selected based on academic success, demonstrated leadership potential, and an interest in a career in banking.  Interest in banking could be demonstrated by course work in commercial banking and financial institutions, or services marketing, summer jobs, internships, or cooperative education in a bank setting, or other activities that indicate a student plans to pursue a career in banking upon completion of their degree program.

William S. Gay Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to undergraduate students majoring in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems within the Pamplin College of Business.

Yount, Hyde & Barbour Scholarship: Scholarship awarded to a rising junior pursuing a degree in Accounting based on merit (2.75 GPA and above), and financial need may be a consideration.  Preference given to Virginia residents.  Other characteristics which should be considered are motivation and initiative as shown by scholastic achievement during the freshman and sophomore years.
