Biography

Karneisha Wolfe joined the Ph.D. program in the Accounting and Information Systems department at Virginia Tech in the Fall of 2018.  Her research interests include audit judgement and decision-making, profession skepticism and audit regulations.  She is an Accounting Doctoral Scholar Program (ADS) scholar.

Prior to starting the doctoral program, Karneisha worked as a Controller at a large public company and as an Audit Staff at EY.  She is also a licensed CPA in the state of North Carolina.  She graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in accounting and human resource management and earned her master's degree in accounting from Wake Forest University.
