Jake Allison

Jake is Vice President & Controller for Norfolk Southern Corporation, a Class I Railroad and Fortune 300 company based in Atlanta, Georgia. He joined Norfolk Southern in 1993 and has served in a variety of roles throughout his career, including Vice President of Treasury and Finance and Vice President Audit & Compliance.

Jake began his career in KPMG’s Roanoke, Virginia office, serving a variety of clients, primarily in the transportation, health care, government and banking industries. He is a Certified Public  Accountant.

Jake graduated from Virginia Tech in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He served as captain of the Hokie golf team from 1983 to 1985. Jake was also Virginia Tech’s first golf Academic All American. He has been involved in a variety of charitable and community activities, including organizations to promoting academic scholarships. He also served in board, executive, finance and audit committee responsibilities for the YMCA of South Hampton Roads for over a decade prior to Norfolk Southern’s relocation to Atlanta.
