Research Conferences

The 2026 Virginia Tech Accounting Research Conference is scheduled for June 26-27 in the DC area.

The Virginia Tech Accounting Research Conference is sponsored by the Department of Accounting and Information Systems to enhance the department's research reputation. The conference is designed to attract top-notch early career stage researchers all over the world to come together to form relationships with our existing, research-active faculty members and Ph.D. students through research dialogues and social interactions.

Format of the conference:
25 minutes for presenters, 15 minutes for discussants, and 20 minutes for Q&A from conference participants.

Conference Hotel:
The Westin Crystal City Reagan National Airport (1800 Richmond Hwy, Arlington, VA 22202) is conveniently located just a 0.1 mile walk from the Crystal City Metro Station and two stops from the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus.
