Kenneth Cooke

Kenneth is the Vice President of Financial Reporting Quality Assurance within the Finance Division of American Express. In this role, Kenneth leads the teams responsible for Finance data governance, regulatory reporting service management and quality assurance, and financial system integrity and transformation.

Prior to American Express, Kenneth worked for 13 years for Goldman Sachs and his most recent role was Senior Vice President of the Global Derivative Disclosures Team, which is responsible for reporting OTC & Listed derivative values for the SEC 10Q/K, Federal Reserve, and other regulatory filings.

Kenneth was the 25th Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (“NABA”) and has been a member of NABA since graduating from Virginia Tech.

Kenneth’s journey of service and leadership has led him to serve on numerous organizations boards and strategic committees. He currently serves on the Virginia Tech Accounting & Advisory Board, the Pamplin Advisory Council and is the scholarship chair of the Richmond African American Scholarship Fund.

Kenneth is a 1992 Accounting graduate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (“Virginia Tech”) and a Virginia licensed CPA.
