Negar is currently a senior manager at Ernst & Young in the FSO Tax practice and has been with the firm since graduating from Virginia Tech in 2013 with a Master's degree in ACIS and an undergraduate degree in Finance. Her specialty has been mostly in the banking industry and she has performed work in different areas; i.e. Corporation/Partnership Federal and State Tax Compliance, Tax Provision, Fiduciary Tax Services, and Accounting for Income Taxes – ASC 740.

Negar has been very involved with Virginia Tech since graduating. She is heavily involved with her firm’s recruiting. She has presented to many classes and has selected and interviewed many ACIS graduates.

Negar is a member of the ACIS Emerging Leaders Board (“ELB”) for the past few years. Negar recently finished her term serving as the Vice Chair and recently started her role as the Chair.

Additionally, Negar serves as a board of director on the Pamplin Community for Leadership and Engagement Group and has been working closely with Mr. James Hatch, the Chairman of the board.

Negar has recently been selected to serve on the Diversity task force within the Pamplin Advisory Counsel as well.

Given her role as the Chair of the ELB, she was nominated as the liaison between the two boards to increase collaboration.
