Kristy Laughlin

Kristy Laughlin is a CISA and CISSP and has over 16 years of experience in the areas of risk assessment, financial statement audit, information technology (IT) controls, and entity-level controls (ELCs), and project management. Kristy leads large, cross-functional teams performing audits, audit readiness and finance transformation activities, and cybersecurity validations in accordance with the following applicable laws, regulations, methodologies, and frameworks: GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, COSO 2013, PCAOB, AICPA, FISCAM, NIST SP 800-53, and SOC 1/2. Mrs. Laughlin has successfully led multiple teams to execute IT control audits, deliver cybersecurity program management and IT Portfolio Management, as well as audit readiness and IT control remediation and improvement engagements. Mrs. Laughlin has supported and led engagements within the Department of Defense (DoD) and, prior to serving federal government clients, provided financial statement and IT auditing services to several large commercial financial services industry and international clients. Outside of her client engagements, Kristy leads the Controls Advisory Market Offering to support development of innovative tools, capabilities, and trainings for our professionals to deploy across our Government & Public Sector engagements.
