ACIS Student Advisory Board

The ACIS Student Advisory Board serves as a bridge between students and ACIS leadership, offering feedback to enhance the ACIS program, and to promote the benefits of the degree to all students within Pamplin College of Business.

The advisory board helps the department by:

  • Meeting with the Faculty Advisor and/or ACIS Department Head a couple of times a semester to discuss the ACIS program.
  • The student members help promote the ACIS program at the Open Houe and Hokie Focus events.
  • Met with ACIS alumni at various events.
  • Hosting student panel discussions to promote the major to "Business, Undecided" students.
  • Host discussions about changes to the CPA Exam.
