Rachel Nicholson

Rachelle is a Partner in Deloitte’s Audit and Assurance practice.  Rachelle has fifteen years of experience serving public and private companies, principally within industrial products, retail and distribution, and manufacturing industries.  Her experience includes serving large global SEC clients with extensive knowledge pertaining to business combinations and Sarbanes Oxley procedures.  She has also led implementation efforts for new accounting standards (i.e. the new leasing standard, ASC 842).

She started her career at Deloitte in Charlotte, North Carolina as a full-time campus hire, which is where she currently resides.  She is a proud Hokie, has served on the ACIS Emerging Leaders Board for over four years, and loves coming back “home” to Blacksburg whenever possible.

Rachelle is also very active in her community, also serving on a non-profit board that provides repairs that make homes safer and healthier for neighbors in need.
