Mike Sarber

Michael is a banking professional with over 25 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry. Michael is Managing Director and Head of Finance Operational Risk at Wells Fargo, accountable for oversight of non-financial risks.

Prior to Wells Fargo, Michael worked for 3 years at Dixon Hughes Goodman where he advised financial services clients on risk matters and large-scale transformation initiatives. He also worked for 21 years at Bank of America where he led teams focused on operations, finance, and risk management.

Michael graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. degree in accounting and earned his M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Michael also holds a Financial Risk Manager certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
