Brief Bio:  Michelle was a campus hire for RSM US LLP and has been in the Washington, D.C. area audit practice for over 5 years. As part of the firm's audit practice, Michelle has served both public and privately held companies in the technology space. She has acted as a bilingual point of contact for audits of Mexican companies and their component auditors. In addition to her experience in audit, Michelle has also spent time in the firm's transaction advisory services practice to serve clients contemplating an acquisition in a buy-side due diligence capacity.

Outside of work, Michelle is passionate about traveling both domestically and internationally – a habit she picked up while studying abroad during her time at VT. Michelle also looks to come back to campus whenever her schedule allows; all three of her siblings are Hokies and two are still on campus!

Advice to future Hokie graduates:  As you look to start your career, keep the Hokie spirit of ‘Ut Prosim’ in mind. You can always serve others – your family, friends, client, team, etc. – and staying hungry to find opportunities to make someone else’s life a bit easier or day a bit brighter will set you apart and pay dividends.
