Biography

DMyrian Frederick joined the Ph. D program in the Accounting and Information Systems (ACIS) department in the Fall of 2023. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Morehouse College in 2008 and his Master’s in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2022. Prior to joining the Ph. D program, he spent fifteen years in industry and public accounting serving clients in financial services, health care, consumer retail and etcetera. His research interest includes Financial Accounting and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). In addition, DMyrian is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas.
