Paul Huber

A native of the seven cities, Paul was born and raised in Suffolk, VA.  He earned his masters and undergraduate degrees from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.  Paul started his career as a CPA in public practice in Virginia Beach as a staff accountant for Cherry Bekaert.  Moving through the ranks and moving to Roanoke, Paul ultimately made Partner with the firm in the audit and consulting practice.  After 8 years in public accounting, Paul came home to his native Suffolk as Controller for Birdsong Peanuts, and in July 2024 was promoted to Chief Financial Officer.  Paul has also served on various community boards and is a current board member for the American Peanut Shellers Association and the Virginia Tech Accounting Department Advisory Board.  When he is not at the office, Paul enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife Lynda and three sons.
