Biography

Xiwen (Cecilia) Sun joined the Ph.D. program in the Accounting and Information Systems Department at Virginia Tech in the Fall of 2023. She received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 2020 with Honors and her master’s degree in Management Science from Cornell University in 2021.

Xiwen’s research interests include topics in audit and financial accounting. She hopes to bring her knowledge and passion to her classroom and inspire students.
