Professional Certifications
In addition to the CPA exam, graduates of our programs sit for other professional certification exams as shown below. Students planning to take any of these professional exams are advised to talk to their department's faculty and advisors during their junior year so that they may select the electives appropriate for the selected exam.
Virginia Tech recently ranked 2nd in CMA exam pass rates for the Southeast Region. 88% of our students taking the CMA exam pass it; that's 30 points above the overall pass rate.
