Biography

Andrew Acito received a Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Iowa and a bachelor’s degree in finance and business process management from Indiana University.  His research publications have examined such topics as the materiality of accounting errors and the effects of Public Company Accounting Oversight Board inspections on auditor-client relationships. He currently teaches financial statement analysis in the Master of Accounting and Information Systems Program and has previously taught courses on auditing and financial reporting decisions.  Before pursuing a Ph.D., Andrew worked at 3M Company in St. Paul, Minnesota, as a financial analyst and as an internal auditor.
